Are you ready for an epic day at the park? Yayy! It’s time for fun in the sun as you visit attractions, collect items along your walks, and go on lots of adventures! Let’s get to the park and have some fun!
What Is It?
Tile Placement – Each turn, each player will add a tile to expand the park
Contract Completion – As players move around the park, they’ll collect various items to complete adventure cards which will score them points, and may give them end game scoring conditions if they chose the ‘advanced’ side when they took the card
Variable Player Powers / Special Abilities – Each player has a character card with a special ability they can use during the game. Players can also collect attraction tokens on the park map which can give them additional abilities they can spend the token for, or they can use them to recharge their character ability
Who Is It For?
- 2 to 5 Players – Seems to scale well mechanically for any count, but it runs a bit too long with more players. I’d say best at 2 or 3
- Ages 8 & Up – Simple rule set overall, but some light strategy with whether to go for the “advanced” side of the adventure cards
- Fans of tile laying and contracts
- Fans of Hello Kitty and her friends!
PROS
- Aesthetics – Great art/graphic design, vibrant colors
- Components – Nice cards/tiles; excellent wooden resource tokens – love them!
- Rules – Overall well written and easy to follow
- Smooth turn flow
- Good variability in character abilities, and having different tiles/attractions coming out game to game
- Also lots of options for scoring – 3 levels of cards with basic and advanced choices
- High-Fiving can be helpful in games of 3+ players to help players who are behind in score get a boost (if you land in someone’s space you “high five” and can get an attraction token, or refresh your nap token)

CONS
- A few discrepancies in the rulebook. I found some answers to my confusion on boardgamegeek, but not everyone may know where to look
- I wish the character movers were printed on both side, so you could see the character art no matter how they face
- Runs a bit long. Even at 2 players it takes twice as long as the box describes
- I thought some of the character abilities were more versatile than others
Final Thoughts
Cute game that feels perfect for family game night for any Hello Kitty fans! It is light enough for a large age/skill range, but still offers a good level of player choice and strategy. My biggest gripe was just that, for such a light game, I
