Tabletop Writers Diversity Initiative: Challenge 1

it me.

Hey there! My name is Steph & I run the Settler of the Boards blog. I’m someone that would rather play games than go pretty much anywhere, even when I’m not quarantined, I have bright red hair & 5 tattoos, & I like oversized sweatshirts. If you’ve been here before, you probably already knew at least some of that. But if you’re new here, hello! & welcome 🙂 I wanted to start off with a quick intro for Week One of this project, but let’s jump right into the 1st challenge – “The Game(s) That Brought You Into The Hobby.”

What I Played This Week 8/31 – 9/6

Howdy, Gamers! Did you play anything cool this week? Anything new? I did both! I’m excited for the week ahead since a day off from work means extra gaming, plus we’re soon getting the band back together with our weekly gaming group! (It’s small, and we are all still being very safe!) What are you most excited to play next? Whatever it is,
Happy Gaming~

Gotta Get in the Zone!

Think you know your way around a city? Well, what if you have to build it yourself? We’re looking for the best city developer around to start from the bottom and build up a thriving location! We need residential, commercial, and industrial areas, of course, as well as some parks and museums. But, please, try to avoid those abandoned lots and houses as much as possible, if you can help it. Will you master the task, or get zoned out of too many blocks? Let’s find out!

A World of Color: Hues & Cues

Think of a color. Okay, now think of one word to describe that color without using a common color name itself. Not so easy, is it? If you’re prepared to put your color brain to the test, then get ready for a great time with Hues and Cues – a game of colors and clues! Let’s check it out.
