Another month in the books – I can’t believe summer is almost over. Buuuut that does mean it’s basically spooky season!! Yes. Spooky season is all Fall, if you were wondering. So I’m excited to hopefully get things like Dead of Winter, Mysterium, Monsters on Board, and more to the table! But, back to August – I got a few new things played this month, mostly plenty of lighter things… and mostly plenty of okay things, lol. Does anything stand out to you?

It was a bit of a slower month for us, but we were able to squeeze in a few small game nights. These days, we’re playing a lot more of the same games overall, which is great actually, but there’s always room for a few new ones too – just mostly on the lighter side of things haha. Do you find the more you game, the heavier you want to play or lighter?

6 months gone already?! That’s actually crazy. Luckily, got plenty of gaming in during June, and had a pretty good winning streak too, not to brag 😏 haha. These days, I’m definitely playing more things that I’ve already played, rather than constantly new things. I’m glad to be reviewing games still, because it lets me try a bunch of new-to-me things, which I love. And I’m glad to get together with people sometimes so I can play their games as well. I’m planning to (eventually) do a whole write-up about culling (again), but we’ve cut down on our collection a lot lately. It’s a whole thing. But we’re still playing games, don’t worry!

I can’t believe it’s already June! May was a pretty good month for new to me games, even if some of them weren’t exactly hits. I don’t like every game I play, but I do like trying new games pretty often, cause I find that fun in and of itself ^_^
