Lists of new-to-me games, by month.
A shorter month, but still plenty of times for games! Yes, I am still obsessed with Middara, but, luckily still got a few newbies to the table ^__^

January 2026 simultaneously felt like a really long month, but also really short. Anyone else think so? We got a lot of snow this month, so we definitely spent some time inside playing games…. it was just mostly Middara so not a ton of new games to the table, haha. Still, a few newbies as well!

This month I played through all the new games I bought at PAXU, and a fair amount of the games I got to review (though there are still a lot of those to go, haha!). I also spent a lot of this month playing through a Middara campaign, which has been a lot of fun too! Great way to end the year 🙂

With a 24-hour game day at our FLGS, lot of friends dropping by, holiday get-togethers, and PAX Unplugged all in the same month, this was a great month for gaming! While there were plenty of classics, there were also quite a few new things to the table! Not all winners by any means, but I still love trying new things ^__^ Do you prefer playing new games, or a select few over and over?

Spooky month is over 😭 But I’ll still be playing spooky games any time and all the time. I did get a few new spooky themed games to the table this month, but not too many new games in general. Have you played anything new lately that you loved?
