Another month with not a ton of new games on the table, but we did participate in another “24 hour game day” at our FLGS, which had some fun times. I’m still steadily working my way through a stack of review games, so at least I’ll see a few new games played each month! 🙂
❤️ – Loved It/Definitely Want to Play More (I rate it a 9 – 10)
😄 – Liked It/Will Likely Play Again (I rate it a 7 – 8)
🤷🏻♀️ – Okay/Take It or Leave It/Could Play Again (I rate it a 4 – 6)
👎🏻 – Didn’t Like/Would Not Play Again (I rate it a 1 – 3)
😄 Mind MGMT: The Psychic Espionage “Game” – I’m not usually huge on hidden movement, but this was neat! Check out my review.
👎🏻 Bad Apples
😄 River Valley Glassworks
🤷🏻♀️Asian Tigers: A Story of Prosperity – A little too heavy for my usual play style, but it was a good game for sure. Check out my review!
😄 The Curious Elevator of Mr. Hincks – An excellent box of creative puzzles! Check out the review!
😄Sally Face: Strange Nightmares – The game had some misprints/hiccups, but it followed the source material so well, so I still really enjoyed it. Review coming soon!
👎🏻SPY x FAMILY: Mission for Peanuts – It’s so similar to Love Letter, but falls flat because it’s just kind of clunky
🤷🏻♀️Critter Kitchen – It’s pretty, but programming just doesn’t work for me with a worker placement game
🤷🏻♀️HiFi
👎🏻Tiny Laser Heist – It is hilarious, but it is so difficult, and I honestly found it weird that it wasn’t full co-op
😄My Book Nook – This was an early look at a game coming to retail from a local designer. It reminded me of Paperback in some sense, but it worked much better!
🤷🏻♀️Museum
🤷🏻♀️Hotel Mystery
👎🏻Lucky Loop – This was a luck fest of epic proportions
🤷🏻♀️Oaxaca
🤷🏻♀️Micropolis
🤷🏻♀️Alpina – This was interesting, but overall scoring was messy
🤷🏻♀️Marabunta
🤷🏻♀️Superstore 3000 – This looked cool, but it was a super overproduced drafting game in the end
🤷🏻♀️Life in Reterra
🤷🏻♀️ Ring of Chaos – I was expecting more chaos I think, but it felt a little repetitive. Review coming soon!
