Hey Gamers! With the cancellation of the weekly “What I Played” lists, I still wanted to keep track of the new games I played for the year, so this is what I’m trying out! This one is a long one for sure, due to plenty of new games we collected over the holidays and many KS games that delivered, but hopefully it works okay.

Let me know what you think of these, and what some of the new-to-you things on your table are! Happy Gaming~

Reaction Key:
❤️ – Loved It/Always Love It/Favorite
😄 – Liked It/Will Likely Play Again
🤷🏻‍♀️ – Okay/Take It or Leave It
👎🏻 – Didn’t Like/Would Not Play Again

🤷🏻‍♀️ My Story – Disappointed it wasn’t as much a deck builder as I thought it’d be. A bit dry for my taste in general.
🤷🏻‍♀️ Taco Ninja Adventure
😄 Heist: One Team, One Mission – Really neat real-time game! Higher levels can get really hectic!
🤷🏻‍♀️/😄 Prairie of Beetles
😄 Penny Papers Adventures: Skull Island
🤷🏻‍♀️/😄 Steven Universe: Beach-A-Palooza – I LOVE Steven Universe, and really want to like this more, so I hope after more plays I do. But the rules are vague and not super well written, which made it difficult to play.
🤷🏻‍♀️ Ticket to Ride: France – A bit fiddly, and a bit too much of a change from the classic for me to really enjoy
🤷🏻‍♀️ Seven Families
😄 Penny Papers Adventures: Valley of Wiraqocha
👎🏻 Posing Pandas – The “dice” are cute but it just made Yahtzee…worse…
😄 Escape Room in a Box: Flashback – Definitely on the easier side, but I really enjoyed the theme and the puzzles and had a great time!
😄 Deckscape: Demo
🤷🏻‍♀️ YOHO (You Only Hang Once)
😄 Penny Papers Adventures: The Temple of Apikhabou – Such a solid series of roll and writes!
😄 Edamame
🤷🏻‍♀️ Botanists
😄 Ponkotsu Factory – A very unique and nifty word game!!
🤷🏻‍♀️ Star Wars Unlock – Played all 3 scenarios in this one and ultimately it really fell flat.
😄 Rival Restaurants: Back for Seconds
🤷🏻‍♀️ Ticket to Ride: Old West
🤷🏻‍♀️ Starlight Stage: Shining Star
🤷🏻‍♀️ Red Outpost
😄 Alicematic Heroes
🤷🏻‍♀️ Love Letter (2019) – The changes are pretty minor, but it really speeds up the game, which I didn’t feel was needed, so I’m not super enthused on it.
🤷🏻‍♀️/😄 Camp Pinetop – It’s really cute and I like it, but it seems like some badges are very powerful, making it a surefire strategy to always go for so I’m on the fence about this one.
😄 The Few and Cursed – I’m always impressed when I find yet another deck building game that does something new or unique, and this one was awesome!
🤷🏻‍♀️ NOIR: Deductive Mystery Game – I don’t know how to describe games like these …. but I know they generally aren’t really for my smol brain
🤷🏻‍♀️/😄 Resistor_ – Short and simple, but kind of cute and enjoyable
😄 Niche – Reminded me of Qwirkle a bit, but smaller. Definitely neat!
🤷🏻‍♀️/😄 Exceed: Shovel Knight Shadow Box – Played Plague Knight from this box VS Enchantress, a Shovel Knight Solo Fighter
❤️ MicroMacro Crime City – This game is incredible! I was expecting it to be good, but it’s so unique, so entertaining, and I just adore it!
😄 Daring Dustbunnies
😄 Big Easy Busking
🤷🏻‍♀️/😄 Mijnlieff – I’m not usually huge on abstract games, but I think this one might grow on me.
🤷🏻‍♀️ Ticket to Ride India
🤷🏻‍♀️ Treasure Island
🤷🏻‍♀️ Kill the Overlord
😄Almanac: The Dragon Road
😄 Master Fox
🤷🏻‍♀️/😄 Tumble Town – I like this, but it’s a bit short. Hopefully more plays let me see this from a lot more angles.
