Can you vibe with your fellow mind readers and figure out the chosen theme based on just the order of some classic pictures? Let’s find out!
What Is It?
🥅The Goal of the game is to successful guess the theme 3 rounds in a row
⚙️Cooperative – Players work together in order to win
⚙️Limited Communication / Deduction – “The Vibe” player selects a theme from 5 random ones and puts 5 random images in order from least to most fitting of the theme. The other players – Mind Readers – discuss and guess which theme it is, without any additional clues from The Vibe
Who Is It For?
👥2 to 6 Players – Really, any number of players works. 2 is great if you think alike, otherwise having others can be helpful so the Mind Readers can discuss
👥Ages 8 & Up – Very simple gameplay, but I’m not sure if younger audiences will love the art
👥Fans of cooperative party-ish games, or games similar to Similo
PROS
🟢Easy set-up / clean-up
🟢Pretty small / portable – doesn’t need a ton of table space
🟢Plays quickly
🟢Rules are well written – small learning curve
🟢Like the big cards with the large font for the themes

CONS
🔴Doesn’t open up to much discussion
🔴I’m not huge on the art myself
🔴I don’t love the rules inside the box instead of having a booklet
Final Thoughts
I thought this one was okay. It sounded similar to Similo, and in some ways it was (one clue giver, other players discussing to find the one “chosen” card). But in this, there’s only 1 clue for a round, so the clue giver can’t go off of discussions to help their team. I just thought each round being only 1 clue/guess fell a little flat for me. Still, I do like that it’s easy to learn, quick to play, and approachable for a wide audience!
