What Is It?

🎯The Goal of the game is to have the most points
⚙️Drafting – Players can draft resources from the “histories” (center cards) or use resources to draft artifacts from the histories for their exhibits; they can only draft from certain spots in the center, depending on where the last player took from
⚙️Tableau Building / Set Collection – Players can have up to 2 exhibits in front of them. Artifacts on top of each exhibit give them access to various abilities. Players are trying to create sets of the same artifact in a row in each exhibit in order to increase their scoring

Who Is It For?

👥1 to 3 Players – I didn’t love solo; I thought the “robot” was a little clunky to manage. But it works fine at 2 or 3.
👥Ages 10 & Up – Pretty small ruleset, light strategy, approachable
👥Fans of quick card games with strategic drafting and some set collection

PROS

🟢Aesthetics – Nice art and good graphic design
🟢Small and portable
🟢Turns are snappy
🟢Good variety in abilities and scoring opportunities on urns

CONS

🔴Luck of the draw with single vs double resources being reachable on your turn, or what artifacts are out/you can afford
🔴Feels a little too quick – ends just as you’re really building out bigger sets/exhibits

Final Thoughts

Overall, the game works fine as a filler/quick card game. I wish there were a few more basic cards in the deck (resources/artifacts) so that players could build up bigger sets, but as it stands, I think it’s just a matter of seeing how much you can do/get knowing that it isn’t a very long game. Cute little card game for a small group!
