Get ready for a thrilling, topsy-turvy ride! Will your coaster be the envy of all other amusement parks? Or will patrons be a bit too dizzy and frightened from all those twists and turns? It’s time to put your ride building skills to the test!

Tile Laying / Route Building – Each turn players will play a tile to extend their coaster track. They’ll build up points on their player boards as they ride through different features such as tunnels, loops, and slopes. They can also earn points for helping other players extend their paths, and for going through 3 or more tiles in a single move.

  • 2 to 6 Players – 2 is okay, but there’s not much player interaction. And 6 can be a bit overly busy. I think 3-5 is probably ideal
  • Ages 8 & Up / Family-Weight Gamers – Simple ruleset/turns; very approachable
  • Fans of tile laying and route building

  • Components – Nice tiles, dual layer player boards, super cute player meeples
  • Aesthetics – Nice art on the tiles; looks cool at the end of the game when all the tiles are placed
  • Fun theme
  • Turns are pretty quick and smooth
  • I like that you can score points for helping others, so it doesn’t feel disappointing if your tile lets someone else progress too
  • I like that you aren’t allowed to cause collisions
  • Rules – I thought the rules were a bit clunky/unclear (mostly about how to move up on your player board tracks)
  • A bit long for what it is

Overall, I thought this game was okay. It has a fun theme and straightforward turns, which I think will help it appeal to a wide audience. For me, I just thought that turns got a bit repetitive and I think the game lasts a bit too long because of that. I think it’ll be good for a young audience (which is the target anyway) who are interested in building a cool little coaster!
