Hey, who’s there hiding under that leaf, or among those flowers? As you move through the seasons, you’ll find all sorts of cute creatures emerging from nature. Ready to check it out?
What Is It?
Drafting – Each turn players draft cards into their 3×3 tableau. Each spot in their grid can only hold a certain numbered card (1-9) and if players get a 2nd card of a number they can “validate” that number for points (of the card’s value)
Set Collection – Players can score points for chains of the same colored card each round. Some cards will also score additional points for how many cards a player has of a certain color, anywhere in their grid
Who Is It For?
- 2 to 5 Players – Scales pretty well, but I do think 2 is weakest. 3-4 is the best
- Ages 8 & Up / Family Weight Fans – Light, quick, approachable. A little bit of light strategy paired with some luck of the card draws
- Fans of drafting and set collection
- Fans of light and quick card games they can play almost anywhere
PROS
- Aesthetics – Amazing art – so cute/unique!
- Rules are well-written
- Small and portable
- Good quality cards
- Turns are smooth and quick
- Not a lot of strategy, but still some opportunity for decision on when to take certain cards depending on what’s already in your grid
- Good variety of ways to score

CONS
- Not very different play to play
- Box is tight; no room for sleeving, which I would want for a game when I shuffle so often
- Similarly, 1 score card is included, attached to the rules. I wish the box was bigger so a small pad could have been included
Final Thoughts
The game is cute and quick. It has great art, and I think it’s approachable for a very side range of players, which is great. After a few plays I just thought the game got a bit repetitive, as there wasn’t enough room for more strategy; it relied too much on the luck of what cards came out when.
If you like light drafting games though, this is worth checking out!
