Our 5 brave superheroes are needed! They need to investigate the mysteries of the disappearing animals and the tummy-ache causing candy … and they need your help! You will need to work together to help them solve the riddles in both cases and be true heroes! Let’s go!

What Is It?
A 2-in-1 escape room game where players work together to solve various riddles/puzzles in order to solve the mystery of Meanstone Manor and find the Caper at Candy Castle! Players can utilize hints if they get stuck or need help.
Who Is It For?
- 1 or More Players – I like these best at 2 for my own plays, but this would work well for 2-4, especially if you do play it with some younger players
- Ages 8 & Up – Light puzzles, great for younger players/families; hints can also help if you need them
- Fans of escape room style games and puzzles/riddles
PROS
- Aesthetics – Nice art across both games
- App – I like the option of the companion app to listen to the story texts. It gives you a better picture of the characters
- Puzzles weren’t difficult but some were very clever, unique, and tactile – especially for those younger players
- Help book can be super useful if you get stuck
- Aside from one puzzle that uses colored stickers (which I think you could possibly replace or find an alternative for) nothing gets permanently destroyed, just cut but pieces are still usable. I like this because it is less wasteful and means you can replay it in the future or let a friend borrow it when you’re done!
- There’s a fun puzzle that has you use a device to “contact” a hero, which was super cute. But I liked that you could also use the help book instead if you didn’t have a device handy, or just didn’t want to use one

CONS
- I didn’t love the silver-gold-bronze color scheme on the decoder/adventure cards. I just thought the gold and bronze were too close, so I constantly had to double check my solutions to make sure I was choosing the right card
Final Thoughts
Both of these were solid escape room games! I’ve played a bunch of the Exit series, and these were probably some of my favorites. Of course, they are on the lighter/easier side since they’re aimed at a younger/family audience, but the puzzles were still pretty clever and fun to do, so I don’t mind that they weren’t that challenging. I think these are great for a wide age and skill range, so if you like puzzles/escape rooms – check this out!
