What an amazing heist we’ve had, thieves. Now comes the fun part – divvying up the loot! Let’s be civilized about this. I’m sure we’ll all get the rewards we want … right?

🥅The Goal is to have the most points at the end of the game
⚙️Dice Rolling – Each round, the 1st player rolls the dice which players will then draft to buy cards
⚙️Drafting – When drafting, players can take as many dice (and/or the 1st player token) as they want from the center on their turn
⚙️Take That – Alternatively, players can also steal from another player – taking everything that player drafted, and returning one or more thing to the center before collecting everything else for themselves

👥 3 to 5 Players – I think it works well at any count, and there’s more dice added for more players…but there aren’t more cards, so I think I like it best at 3 players
👥Ages 12 & Up – Simple ruleset, straightforward rounds
👥Fans of dice rolling and making combos – you can buy cards that change your die faces, turn dice into points, et cetera
👥Players who don’t mind when players steal from them (because it’s going to happen a lot to everyone

🟢Aesthetics – Nice art
🟢Components – Good quality overall; I like the unique dice
🟢Rules are well-written
🟢Card can help mitigate die luck
🟢Loot Splitting was unique – not quite “I cut, you choose,” but close, and with a bit of a twist
🟢The coin limit of 2 worked well for the flow of the game, so a player couldn’t stockpile wilds
🟢Everyone involved every round. Even after you take a turn, you might get stolen from and need to pick again!
🟢Fun tension each turn, deciding what to take, hoping you don’t get stolen from, et cetera. Even a little bit of “negotiation” (i.e. convincing a player to steal from someone else over you)

🔴Since cards don’t refill after each player, you can get locked out of buying things some rounds if you’re going later in turn order
🔴Luck of rolls can sometimes make for some boring rounds early on

Overall, I thought this game was just plain fun. It’s got the random die rolls, but there are a lot of cards, so you can usually buy something, especially if you pick earlier. If you focus on building a good array of cards early, you’ll be able to manipulate your dice enough, no matter the rolls, to do pretty well every round!

The player interaction works really well too, and even with the stealing (which I would say I normally don’t like in games) doesn’t feel mean, because everyone is doing it, and everyone is being targeting. It just adds to the vibe and theme of the game, which really gets players into it. Really worth checking out!
