More Doom! More Cute!

Not enough cute creatures in your Doomlings deck? Imaginary Ends and Shadow Puppets can fix that right up! Add Deeplings, Glitterlings, Moonlings, and Fuzelings to your deck, and score extra points with some magical treats — Let’s go!

Expansions for Doomlings that add new trait cards/types – some let you hide cards facedown, some add a bit more randomness, and some force you to play fewer cards – new age cards, and new catastrophe cards. Plus, Imagine Ends also introduces Magical Merchants and Trinkets, which give players more opportunities to earn points by completing trinket objectives to pocket them.

👥2 to 6 Players – The expansions don’t add to the player count, so I think it still works best at 4-6 to up the player interaction
👥Ages 8 & up / Light Game Fans – Small ruleset, smooth gameplay, no heavy strategy
👥Fans of Doomlings who want more cards, more variety, and a new feature

🟢Aesthetics – Art/color scheme is still top notch
🟢Good quality cards, match base game
🟢Easy to add in to the base game
🟢Merchants/trinkets add a fun new layer to the game

🔴I wish Imaginary Ends had a proper rulebook instead of just cards
🔴Shadow Puppets box was very tight and hard to open

I thought Imaginary Ends was a great addition for more variety. I really liked the merchants/trinkets because it made the game feel a little more unique, and I just liked having a little goal to go for throughout the game.

Shadow Puppets is more of the new types of cards (aside from the merchants), so it does work well with Imaginary Ends. I think if you play the game often, or with the same players, it’s definitely worth adding in some more variety. If you only want 1, I’d definitely lean toward Imaginary Ends.
