Do you love making Blorps? … What do you mean you haven’t tried it yet?! Puzzle your way to bigger and bigger Blorps, and use Blorp-o-phones (aka trumpets) to connect Blorps to one another. Score big and show off your Blorp to all your friends!

Theme – …Blorps
🎯The Goal of the game is to have the most points
⚙️Drafting – Each turn 4 tiles are available and players draft 1 to add to their play area then refill the tiles for the next player
⚙️Tile Laying – Players must follow placement rules – tiles must touch the same color – and as they create and expand Blorps, they must remember that only completed Blorps will score at the end of the game. Connecting via trumpets will help make Blorps bigger

👥2 to 6 Players – You’ll have less tiles with more people, so if you want to build bigger Blorps, you might prefer a lower player count
👥Ages 10 & Up – Approachable gameplay; I think kids will enjoy the look
👥Fans of tile laying games, similar to Carcassonne, and silly themes

🟢Aesthetics – A unique look
🟢Components – Nice quality tiles and a fun stand to hold them during the game
🟢Easy set-up
🟢Quick turns
🟢Variability for game play with the speed play option

🔴I don’t love the color scheme
🔴The art is fun … but also kinda creepy
🔴Luck of the draw if you just aren’t getting tiles on your turn to close off Blorps
🔴I don’t feel like the box is designed great for storing everything

It’s a pretty solid tile laying game. Connecting the Blorps and needing to close them off felt a little similar to Carcassonne, but with everyone having their own board. I don’t want to look at it too long, personally – for fear that the Blorps can see into my soul – but I think the game works well and if you like tile laying and making connections, you’ll probably have a good time with it!
