Do you know where rain comes from? Clouds? Well…sort of! Every cloud is actually a “cloudship,” and they produce the rain that falls to Earth. Do you think you have what it takes to help steer one of these cloudships and help make the flowers grow? It’s time to find out! Work together and communicate well in order to grow all the flowers before the storm grabs hold of your ship!

Cooperative Dexterity Game – Players will work together to control the cloudship, each holding 1 to 2 of the ship’s strings, to guide the rain drops onto the board in the appropriate areas, determined by the dice

  • 2 to 4 Players – It’s a bit easier with less players because you have more control, so I think it’s best at 4 for a little added challenge
  • Ages 6 & Up – Simple ruleset, very approachable for all ages and skill levels
  • Fans of light dexterity games where players work together

  • The cloudship is a fun gimmick that works well for the play style
  • Rules are well-written
  • Ability to adjust difficulty
  • Components are nice; I like that the ship stays assembled in the box
  • I like that the flowerbeds become wild once full, to keep the game progressing
  • I appreciate that a roll of 3 storms allows for a re-roll to mitigate some of the luck of the dice
  • Unique feel to the game mechanisms
  • Balls can bounce all over if you accidentally drop them
  • Luck of the dice can lead to some shorter games (if you happen to roll 2 storms a lot of turns)
  • Doesn’t feel much different game to game
    • Also not as interesting with less players because you don’t need to communicate nearly as much

It’s a very cute game that’s quick and fun. It’s intended for a younger audience, of course, so it’s not as challenging for older players, but it is still entertaining for a quick dexterity game. Regardless of the ages of players, I think it’s best at a full 4 players because it really emphasizes the communication aspect since you have less control of the ship, using only 1 finger. Overall, great for the whole family!
