It’s a Frenzy of Waterfalls!

A scenic waterfall view … sounds lovely! But watch out – it won’t be long before a spillover occurs! Will you have the most influence when that happens? Let’s find out!

What Is It?

✨Theme – Waterfalls (but mostly themeless)
🎯The Goal is to have the highest score
⚙️Card Play – Each round each player will play 2 face down cards to any available pools (there will be 1 pool per player set up). They will reveal and resolve cards once everyone has played 2, and players will take any actions they played as they are revealed (pulling/bumping cards, or proxying from their hand)

Who Is It For?

👥2 to 6 Players – Works fine at any count. Tends to go a bit faster with more players
👥Ages 8 Up – Approachable gameplay, not much choice to make on turns
👥Fans of quick/simple card games

PROS

🟢Pretty colors for the player cards
🟢Rules well written
🟢Turns are quick, as well as revealing and resolving as abilities don’t take long to resolve
🟢Easy set-up and clean-up
🟢I like that when you don’t score a spillover, you get to move a card to the next pool

CONS

🔴Since everything gets played face down, I didn’t feel like my choices were that interesting or meaningful each turn because I didn’t have any idea how my cards would interact with others

Final Thoughts

The game is fine. It’s just a simple card game, not much to it, and it plays quickly. For me, it’s not something I’d be itchin’ to play very often, but if someone pulled it out, I could play it. It just didn’t hold my interest because I felt like I never knew what the best card to play was since it was all face down. But, hey, maybe I’m overthinking it, haha.
