We’re having a pupper party! Head to the dog park and invite pups to your yard for fun tricks and plenty of bones! Which party will be the most fun? Let’s find out!

🎯The Goal of the game is to have the most points
⚙️Selection Order “Bidding” – Each round begins with players simultaneously picking a card from their hand to play for its trick. The number on the card will determine turn order (high to low)
⚙️Drafting – Players will draft a new pup from the dog park (center) into their hand each round
⚙️Set Collection – Most card abilities will improve the more cards of the same dog a player has. Cards also have endgame bonuses, which may look at certain dog groups

👥1 to 6 Players – 2-5 out of the box, but extends to 1-6 if you have both boxes. You take out a number of cards based on player count, so I think it scales well. I prefer it with 3+ players personally
👥Ages 10 & Up – Gameplay is pretty approachable, but there is a lot of abilities/scoring conditions to learn, so it can have a bit of a learning curve at first
👥Fans of card games, drafting, and endgame bonuses to work toward

🟢Aesthetics – The art is excellent
🟢With both boxes you have extra variety + solo and 6 player options
🟢Rules are well written
🟢Gameplay is smooth and turns are snappy
🟢I think the bidding for turn order works well
🟢I like the Rascals in Too; I liked having extra goals to work on to get bonus points

🔴I think the different abilities and understanding that each dog’s symbol = how many of that card you have can be confusing for less experienced gamers
🔴I thought getting the extra card if you went last in turn order was neat, but I thought it felt more powerful in lower player count games because you had a higher chance at getting the extra card

Really good game flow, nice art, and some clever cardplay with both how you bid and how you draft. I think it’s light enough to introduce to some “newer” gamers, while still having enough strategy with the abilities and scoring for those who are more experienced.
