It’s campers versus creatures! Your campsite is full of some freaky frighteners, and your job is to get rid of as many as you can in order to have the safest campsite around. Let’s scare these spirits away!
What Is It?
🥅The Goal of the game is to have the lowest score after 3 rounds
⚙️Hand Management – Players have a “hand” of cards on the table in front of them and they want to swap and or discard cards in order to decrease their score
⚙️Memory – Once you’ve seen a card (of your own or someone else’s) you can’t look at it again without using another ability, so a good memory can be important
⚙️Take-That – Some card abilities let you interact with other players (i.e. by giving them more cards) which can help to increase their score
⚙️Bluffing / Challenging – When players discard facedown cards, or do an action with a facedown card, they can bluff about what card(s) they are using/discarding. It’s up to other players to decide whether or not to challenge, which can cause players to have to draw more cards
Who Is It For?
👥2 to 5 Players – Scales fine for any count gameplay wise. There’s more interaction with more players of course, but I do think it runs a little long with a full 5
👥Ages 10 & Up – Streamlined ruleset, very approachable
👥Fans of bluffing, take-that, and lots of abilities, who don’t mind some memory
PROS
🟢Aesthetics – Nice artwork
🟢Components – Good quality cards
🟢Rules are well-written
🟢Fun theme
🟢Small / portable
🟢Good variety of abilities
🟢Good level of player interaction
🟢Easy + quick set up and clean up
🟢The promo is a fun addition to add an “ability” to a lower number (2)

CONS
🔴Can feel a bit too long with a full 5 player count
🔴Memory can be hard on some players
🔴Can fall into games where no one is challenging other players, which eliminates a big element of the game, making it feel like the bluffing is pointless
Final Thoughts
I thought the memory element combined with the bluffing element was interesting, because you could end up not really remembering your cards, and can still discard a bunch at once, hoping no one will call you out. I definitely recommend finding people to play it with who are actually willing to throw a challenge out every so often, otherwise it leaves the game itself feeling a little bland. But overall, the theme and art are fun, the game plays smoothly, and it’s a pretty fun card game that’s worth checking out!
