What Is It?

🥅 The Goal is to eliminate all you opponent’s cars
⚙️ Action Points – Players get 3 actions per turn and there are 4 actions to choose from. They can play a car to the convoy, draw a new card, move a card forward or backward one spot in the convoy, and/or use a car’s power
⚙️ Shared Deck – There are 18 cards and they are always shuffled and shared between the 2 players. Players start with 4 cards each in the convoy, 3 cards each in hand, and the rest go to the draw deck

PROS

🟢 Aesthetics – nice art on the cards
🟢 Fun theme
🟢 Good quality cards
🟢 Rules are well written and straightforward
🟢 Turns are snappy
🟢 Small and portable! Don’t need a huge play area

CONS

🔴 Luck of the shuffle. One player can sometimes start with a better set-up.
🔴 I’m not sure how well it holds up after a bunch of plays

Final Thoughts

I think it’s a good small game. There’s a bit of strategy and you really have to know all the cards so that you know what both you and your opponent are capable of. But there’s still a bit of luck because I did feel like some cards were a little stronger than others (but that might also be a matter of perspective based on play style). And while the game is never exactly the same play to play because of the shared deck, I did think that the play style isn’t exciting enough to hold my attention after a bunch of plays, so it’s something I’d only play once in while. But if you’re looking for something portable with tight 2 player gameplay – check it out!
