Can you guess nouns, verbs, and phrases from only a few shapes? If you’re quick, you’ll score big! But if you can’t build clear glyphics yourself, you may miss out on enough points to win!
What Is It?
π₯
The Goal is to score the most points
βοΈA party game where players will try to create glyphics (pictures) out of various shapes to represent nouns, verbs, or phrases on their card. They’ll score points for getting others to guess their words, and for guessing other players’ glyphics correctly.
Who Is It For?
π₯ 3 or More Players – I think it shines at around 5 or 6 players
π₯ Ages 8 & Up – Easy and standard cards available, so you can scale for different ages
π₯ Fans of acting or art-sy type party games like Pictonary, Telestrations, or Monikers
PROS
π’ Nice tactile feel to the pieces; good quality
π’ Lots of cards, so lots of variety
π’ Rules are well written
π’ Players are all involved on every turn
π’ Various ways to play – More rounds, no time limit, teams, etc
π’ Can communicate action/motion, which is neat

CONS
π΄ I wish the pieces were in more colors
π΄ Some prompts are definitely trickier than others, usually the ones that are more specific than others
π΄ The stand (for 3D glyphics) is very tight and hard to fit other pieces into
Final Thoughts
This game is cute! I’m not great at drawing games, so this felt like a great alternative to things like Pictionary, which can lead to more frustration. This definitely had some challenge to it, some words more than others, but most things felt very within reach with the given shapes. I also appreciate that phrases are worth more points than nouns/verbs, since those can be very tricky! If you like this style of party game in general, you’ll probably have fun with this one!
