It’s time for Pride! But there’s still a lot to do before we can enjoy our time at the festivities. Can you figure out all the logistics so we can all head to the parade? It’s time for the Pride Pursuit!

What Is It?

⚙️Escape Room / Puzzles – Players will work through a series of puzzles in order to make their way through the story / cards
⚙️Technology – There is also a website players will access to input answers, so it can tell them what card(s) to take next. The website has hints and info (i.e. ciphers, history of pride, etc) which players may need throughout the game

Who Is It For?

👥1 or More Players – I felt like you mostly got 1 puzzle at a time, and some were hard to do with multiple people, so I thought this one was best at 1 to 2 players
👥Ages 10 & Up – I thought the puzzles weren’t super difficult, and there are a lot of helpful hints if players get stuck
👥Fans of other escape room style board game (especially others in this series), cooperative games, and light puzzles

PROS

🟢Great theme – puzzles align well with the theme
🟢Puzzles are fun; good variety
🟢Very inclusive to a lot of different sexualities
🟢I think the difficulty rating (1/3) is accurate
🟢Good hints and reference material on the website
🟢Small/portable
🟢Clean graphic design

CONS

🔴I wish the website had some music or something to add to the ambiance of the game
🔴There was one puzzle I wasn’t sure how to approach at first just from the description, but the hints were helpful

Final Thoughts

I’m not trying to spoil too much, of course, but I will say this one was another hit! I really like this series of escape rooms, and this one is no different. I think it utilizes the theme really well, which makes for some unique and fun puzzles.
