Can you name the who, what, or where with only a few clues? And can you do it faster than your opponents? It’s time to put your trivia knowledge to the test and prove that you’re the ultimate smart ass!
What Is It?
🥅The Goal is to be the first player to reach the end space on the board
⚙️Trivia – Players take turns reading and answering questions with categories of “who,” “what,” or “where.” When answering, you want to be the fastest to say the correct answer. When asking, you hope no one gets it right so that you get to move forward
⚙️Roll and Move – If you answer correctly, you roll the die to move 1 to 4 spaces. Landing on a “hard ass” space earns you a chance at a bonus question, the “dumb ass” space means you can’t participate in the next question, and the “kick ass” space moves you back 3 spaces
Who Is It For?
👥2 to 6 Players – Fine at any count, with some small tweaks at 2, but I think it shines at 5-6.
👥Ages 14 and Up – I haven’t seen every question, but I think younger players would have a harder time with many of them
👥Fans of trivia who don’t mind some real-time — you need to be fast to win!
PROS
🟢Love the chunky dice
🟢Donkey pieces are cute
🟢Rounds are quick
🟢Everyone is engaged on all turns since anyone can answer
🟢Easy set-up/clean-up
🟢Good variety of questions
🟢Approachable rules
🟢I like the style of trivia with the list of clues

CONS
🔴Luck – The game can feel kind of punishing at times. Movement is already random – someone who moves 1 every turn probably isn’t going to win over someone rolling a 4 – but then you add in that people can lose turns, or move backwards because of their roll? It feels too random and can also prolong the game unnecessarily
🔴Though there are a bunch of cards, the game doesn’t feel very different play to play; it gets old after a few plays
Final Thoughts
Overall, I find this one just okay. I liked the form of trivia it had, and I appreciated that it isn’t very long most of the time. I just thought too much was reliant on rolling dice rather than just how well you were doing with the trivia. (I saw someone get 4 questions right, but then land on the kick ass space twice, so they barely moved).
