If you like Go Fish or Old Maid and don’t mind potty humor, then Go Poo! The Game might be for you! Small ruleset, and a silly theme, so it’s easy to get started. Let’s check it out!

🎯The Goal of the game is to score the most points
⚙️Set Collection / Memory – Players need a card from each of 5 categories in order to score “a poo.” Each turn they can ask opponents for cards until they are able to score, or they get told “no poo for you,” if a player doesn’t have what was asked for. Alternatively, they can draw 1 card from the toilet for their turn, if they don’t want to risk giving out info to other players.
⚙️Take That – If a player is asked for a card and they have a diarrhea card in hand, they can give that to their opponent instead, who must put it face-up in front of them for the negative score on it at the end of the game.

👥2 to 6 Players – Personally, I always think this type of game is better with more, so I think 5 or 6 is best.
👥 Ages 6 & Up – I definitely think this would appeal to a younger audience most

🟢Rules are well written
🟢Thematic box art
🟢Overall the art is well done…even if the theme isn’t my style lol
🟢Turns are snappy; good game flow

🔴I thought it would be a bit better if you drew a card from the toilet when a player didn’t have something you asked for, just to keep the game moving.
🔴I thought the range for the negative points (losing 10-50 points on a single card) was too much. That negative 50 is a crazy loss.

The game plays well mechanically, and is very approachable. I liked having to collect cards from 5 categories before getting a chance to score, because I thought it gave you a little bit of memory with knowing what other players have turn to turn, as well as strategy in asking versus just trying to grab cards from the center. That said, this theme definitely isn’t for everyone, and that includes me. I can see kids having a laugh with it, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back to it.
