Your crew discovered the truth about the Inertia Corporation and now – they’re coming for you. You’ll need a skilled driver and a few good shots in order to get away from them. The clock is ticking – can you handle the pressure? I guess we’ll find out.

Cooperative – Players must work together and win or lose as a team

Real-Time Trading – Players will trade their turn order, direction, and weapon cards to determine how the round will play out with Programmed Actions

Scenario Based – There are different mission cards to change up the game and adjust the number of rounds, and the win condition

Chaining – As players attack other vehicles and wreck them, they will cause collateral damage to other vehicles, depending on where there are arrows on their tile, which may cause additional wrecks/pile-ups

  • 1 to 4 Players – I thought solo seemed easiest, in a way, because you are able to puzzle out the programming on your own and decide the best way to do things. But, I felt like a full 4 players was the best as it felt like it was designed to have the 4 players sitting in the car to do actions in their certain directions
  • Ages 12 & Up – The rules aren’t super heavy, but the time limits can be overwhelming if you aren’t used to real-time games
  • Fans of real-time, cooperation, and action programming

  • Aesthetics – The art is nice, very comic-booky
  • Components are good quality cards and tiles
    • The sand timer is fine, but I really like the digital timer that is linked in the rules because it’s easier to listen to timers than watch them in my opinion, but it also adds some fun, tense music to the game
    • Can adjust the digital timer to adjust difficulty as well
  • Theme is fun
  • Good variety in scenarios/win conditions
    • Electronics Lab mini expansion also adds a bit more variety to cards/tiles
  • I felt like the game was very much designed for a full 4 players in order to have a full experience
  • The puzzley aspect is neat, but can be very difficult with the time constraint

Thematically, I understand why there is a real-time element in this game. It’s a very energetic, chaotic experience, which fits with the theming, and can be fun.

However, for me, I don’t think it works the best as a programming game. I associate this mechanism with a puzzley nature, and I think it is difficult to solve that puzzle under the time pressure. But, others might think differently and be able to see things more clearly, faster. So if you thrive in a real-time game, and have great communication, it might be worth checking out!
