Are you set in your opinions? Or can your friends sway how you rank things? It’s time to find out – and may the loudest person in the room win!
What Is It?
✨Theme – Generic/No Theme
🎯The Goal of the game is to be the first to earn 3 cards
⚙️Party Game
⚙️Ranking/Matching – Each round all players will secretly rank 5 options on the active category card according to the ranking scale the current ranker chooses. Players are trying to match as many answers with the ranker as they can
⚙️Debating – The ranker will be the first to reveal their answers and then players will debate and try to convince the ranker to change their mind in order to get more matches with them. Once the ranker locks in, everyone reveals answers and whoever matches the most wins the card
Who Is It For?
👥3 to 8 Players – Works at any count, but it’s definitely louder/more chaotic with more
👥Ages 18 & Up – The “not safe for work” cards are labeled, which is helpful, but it’s definitely still geared toward an older audience
👥Fans of loud party game and debates; players who think they know each other well – or think they can be persuasive
PROS
🟢Rules are short, well-written, easy to get into
🟢Easy set-up/clean-up
🟢Lots of variety in category cards
🟢Can be a fun/lively conversation starter; good start to a party game night
🟢Pretty portable and don’t need a large play area

CONS
🔴If players aren’t open to changing their mind, it can kind of defeat the purpose of the debating phase, and if they are “waiting to be convinced” too long, the game can drag. I think setting a timer for the debates can help with this
🔴Some topics might be uncomfortable for groups who don’t know each other as well, but you are able to skip a card you don’t like, which is nice
🔴Some topics also seemed hard to rank in general, or had multiple options that felt a bit too similar
🔴Not a fan of the cubed box
Final Thoughts
Like many party games, this all comes down to who you play with. You definitely want to play with a group of loud people who love a debate, but don’t take it too seriously. I think it’s important to play with people who are open to changing their opinions on the ranking topics too, so the debate has meaning – though you can also play it as a straight “match the ranker” game if you prefer. I do think it can go on a bit long for what it is, depending on how points shake out, but overall it can be a fun experience and I think you’ll know if this one’s for you just by looking at it.
