What?! A convention post in March?! How new and unusual! That’s right, gamers, I’m headed to PAX East later this month! Unfortunately, I’m only able to attend for one day this year, but I’m still really looking forward to it because I have never been to this convention.
I know there’s some tabletop stuff, which I’m definitely interested in checking out, of course, (definitely took a look at their First Look gaming options), but there’s obviously also tons of video game stuff. Admittedly, I don’t know as much about that side of gaming, but I do have a few favorite video games (mostly narrative types) and just love seeing new things and just kind of noting what I might want to play in the future.
While I’m not 100% sure what to expect (trying not to compare it to UnPlugged too much), I took a look at the Expo Hall list, and here’s a few things I’m interested in checking out!
Blumhouse Games
I’m a big horror movie fan, many including Blumhouse movies, so I’m interested to check out their games. I saw 2 on the expo hall list – Grave Seasons and Crisol: Theator of Idols – and both look pretty cool!
Collywobble Games, LLC
They had 1 game listed – Do a Crime. “Do A Crime is a casually-chaotic-cozy platform puzzler where you play as a Raccoon – doing crimes!” — Yeah that sounds hilarious, so I’m interested!
Dodecadonuts
First of all, incredible name. I love dice and dice accessories, so I’m looking forward to seeing what they have!
The Gilded Teafling
I’m a huge Epic the Musical fan, so I’m excited to see their themed partner products! 🙂
There’s plenty more I’m looking forward to seeing, including, of course, PINS, but I just wanted to pull out some quick highlights. See y’all at the show! ^__^
