Can You Ditch All Your Cards?

You start with 8 cards, and all you have to do is get rid of them all. Easy, right? Well… maybe not. Other players will try to capitalize on your moves and make you draw penalty cards so that they can get rid of their cards first! Let’s see who comes out on top!

New To Me – April 2025

Another month with not a ton of new games on the table, but we did participate in another “24 hour game day” at our FLGS, which had some fun times. I’m still steadily working my way through a stack of review games, so at least I’ll see a few new games played each month! ๐Ÿ™‚

โค๏ธ โ€“ Loved It/Definitely Want to Play More (I rate it a 9 โ€“ 10)
๐Ÿ˜„ โ€“ Liked It/Will Likely Play Again (I rate it a 7 โ€“ 8)
๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ โ€“ Okay/Take It or Leave It/Could Play Again (I rate it a 4 โ€“ 6)
๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป โ€“ Didnโ€™t Like/Would Not Play Again (I rate it a 1 โ€“ 3)

๐Ÿ˜„ Mind MGMT: The Psychic Espionage “Game” – I’m not usually huge on hidden movement, but this was neat! Check out my review.
๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿป Bad Apples
๐Ÿ˜„ River Valley Glassworks
๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธAsian Tigers: A Story of Prosperity – A little too heavy for my usual play style, but it was a good game for sure. Check out my review!
๐Ÿ˜„ The Curious Elevator of Mr. Hincks – An excellent box of creative puzzles! Check out the review!
๐Ÿ˜„Sally Face: Strange Nightmares – The game had some misprints/hiccups, but it followed the source material so well, so I still really enjoyed it. Review coming soon!
๐Ÿ‘Ž๐ŸปSPY x FAMILY: Mission for Peanuts – It’s so similar to Love Letter, but falls flat because it’s just kind of clunky
๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธCritter Kitchen – It’s pretty, but programming just doesn’t work for me with a worker placement game
๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธHiFi
๐Ÿ‘Ž๐ŸปTiny Laser Heist – It is hilarious, but it is so difficult, and I honestly found it weird that it wasn’t full co-op
๐Ÿ˜„My Book Nook – This was an early look at a game coming to retail from a local designer. It reminded me of Paperback in some sense, but it worked much better!
๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธMuseum
๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธHotel Mystery
๐Ÿ‘Ž๐ŸปLucky Loop – This was a luck fest of epic proportions
๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธOaxaca
๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธMicropolis
๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธAlpina – This was interesting, but overall scoring was messy
๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธMarabunta
๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธSuperstore 3000 – This looked cool, but it was a super overproduced drafting game in the end
๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธLife in Reterra
๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ Ring of Chaos – I was expecting more chaos I think, but it felt a little repetitive. Review coming soon!

Next Floor, Please!

Welcome to Hincksville, neighbor! Of course, now that you’ve joined our quirky community, you’ll need to solve a few puzzles to get to the top of the building and earn your elevator pass. Sounds fair, right? Let’s get this little challenge started!

Prosperity Awaits!

As an investor, it’s important to properly manage your fund so you can strategically allocate to the 4 Asian Tigers. In order to achieve success, you’ll send out workers, build infrastructures, and sell goods. Still, only one of you can earn the most prosperity points and come out the winner. Do you have what it takes?

Friend or Foe of Mind MGMT?

So, another psychic spy is on the scene, huh? Are you a skilled recruiter ready to comb the city for new recruits for the Mind MGMT team? Or are you more of a rogue agent looking to put a stop to the organization once and for all? Whatever role you choose, you’ll need to perform at the top of your game is you want to succeed.
