Gather round, architects – we’re going to build the best new tower, as a team! I know we all have different ideas of how the tower should look, but if we work together and communication, it’s sure to be a success!

🥅The Goal is to complete a tower that fulfills everyone’s condition cards
⚙️Cooperative – Players work together as a team
⚙️Limited Communication – Players each have at least 1 card that displays a condition they need to fulfill in the final tower (i.e. all blues must be horizontal)
⚙️Variable Set Up – Players will select the “green” or “pink” base game which will determine which blocks they must use. They’ll also select a difficulty which will tell them the total value of points on cards they needs (thus, how many conditions they’ll need to fulfill). They can also opt for the easier intro game, or the challenge mode!

👥1 to 6 Players – Fine with any count, though I’d say 2-3 is best because the more players you add, the more difficult it becomes to get everyone on the same page
👥Ages 12 & Up – Simple ruleset, but the more cards you add in, the trickier it will get, so it can help to work up to the higher difficulty
👥Fans of limited communication cooperative games and building/stacking games
👥Players with a mind for a bit of a puzzle

🟢Good quality blocks
🟢Lots of variety in the cards/challenges
🟢Lots of ways to play
🟢Super easy set up/clean up
🟢Small table footprint
🟢Can scale the difficulty

🔴I didn’t find scoring very interesting
🔴The limited communication can be frustrating because it mostly becomes just undoing what other people did, and trying to memorize what everyone needs the tower to fulfill

Choose your group wisely! If you can’t communicate effectively, you won’t be able to succeed… well, at least not quickly. It does seem pretty difficult to actually lose, because you can just keep moving blocks until everyone says they are satisfied. It can just take a while to get there if you aren’t able to get your conditions across, or if things are hard to make work all together.

For me, it’s not one I’m going to come back to much, because it didn’t feel all that satisfying at the end of it. If you like a little puzzle, you might like the solo mode, and if you have friends you think can work well together within these limits, you might want to check it out!
