But can you name them all? It’s time to test your Pokemon knowledge! Listen to the clues and put in your best guess for which Pokemon you think the device is thinking of. But remember! You only get points for correct answers, so don’t buzz in before you’re sure!
What Is It?
🥅The Goal of the game is to be the first player to 30 points
⚙️Electronic Component / Deduction – The device gives instructions and then clues to get players to guess a certain Pokemon based on characteristics such as color or type.
⚙️Race – The earlier you buzz in, the more points you will get. If you buzz in first, you’ll get bonus points over someone else who also guesses correctly
Who Is It For?
👥1 to 4 Players – Solo gives you 10 rounds and you’re trying to beat your best score. It’s a fun activity if you just want to test your knowledge, or if you work together to answer. The multi-player adds the racing element, which can lead to some funny guesses
👥Ages 6 & Up – Great for any age!

PROS
🟢Easy to use
🟢Volume is good
🟢I like the double-sided board – beginner side has types/evolutions marked, and the expert side is more mixed up
🟢Nice storage compartment for player pieces
🟢Rules are short and sweet; plus, the device can also walk you through your first game if you prefer
CONS
🔴The voice wasn’t always clear/distinct – For example, in one round, we all thought it said the Pokemon’s name started with an “N” but it was “M”
🔴Some clues were too vague or repetitive – For example, one round we got “has a beak” and “has a mouth,” which we felt were the same thing
Final Thoughts
If you like (and really know) Pokemon, this is a fun one. It’s fun to see how early you can guess it, and laugh when someone tries to buzz in way too early and makes a completely wrong guess. I saw a handful of small hiccups in my plays, but would overall say it does work really well. I think it’s a great game/activity for Pokemon fans!
