Can you get your team to guess all the answers on your card by only using 25 words? How about 22? 19? 15?! Bet as low as you think you can to earn the chance to give your team your best clues. But be careful! If you bid too low and don’t succeed, the opposing team will earn your point instead!
What Is It?
⚙️Bidding – Each turn, 1 player from each team will bid on the active card, deciding how many words they think they need to get their team to guess all 5 answers on the card. Lowest bid gets to attempt to give clues for the words, while the other team keeps track of the words said
⚙️Real-Time/Race Score- The clue-giver will have 1 minute to get their team to guess all the answers on their card. 1st team to 10 points wins.
⚙️Word Association – Clue-givers can only give words as clues (no sounds/gestures), so t hey have to be careful to stay within the limit of what they bid
Who Is It For?
- 4 or More Players – Just split into 2 teams, they don’t have to be equal. I’d probably say 4 players is my favorite, but I could see playing with up to 8. I think more than that might be too chaotic
- Ages 10 & Up – Small ruleset, very approachable, plus plenty of variety in the words you’re getting the team to guess
- Fans of loud, funny party games, team play, and word association
PROS
🟢Very portable – I love that the word count track is part of the box!
🟢Easy set-up and clean-up
🟢Lots of variety in words on cards
🟢Rules are short and clear; the game is very approachable for a large audience
🟢The bidding is an interesting concept and can lead to funny rounds for more risky players!
🟢Aesthetics – Nice color scheme

CONS
🔴It can feel a bit long if players take a while to bid, or if the teams are pretty evenly matched. You could always play to less than 10 cards if that seems like too much
🔴It feels weird sometimes that the team who didn’t bid low enough gets the point if the active team doesn’t succeed, mostly because it means you can win without ever giving clues, potentially
Final Thoughts
This is definitely one of those party game where you need the right group of people. When you do, it’s a ton of fun because you’ll usually hear some crazy clues or watch people try to make huge leaps just so they can get their team to guess correctly with few words. I also love watching people make those initial bids, and react to the card they draw because there’s usually some trepidation as they consider how low they can realistically bid.
I’m not sure how I feel about the opposing team getting the point when you fail; there’s good and bad to it. But ultimately I guess it’s for the best to keep the game moving.
It’s not my favorite party game, but it can definitely be fun if you have players who can really get into it!
