Top “#” lists of certain games

Top 10 Game Expansions

You’ve all heard the saying that if you love something you should let it go, or set it free, or whatever, right? Yeah … well in board games, we don’t exactly stand for that. In fact, if you love something, you should probably seek out ways to expand it! Which brings us to the reason that we’re here today – my Top 10 board game expansions!

I love a bunch of expansions for games for different reasons. Some add new rules or variants to play with, some just add something to the game that I couldn’t see ever playing without! It was hard to try and order these, because it really has a lot to do with the games themselves too. So, without further ado and in no super particular order, let’s check out some expansions!

Top 5 Racing Games

Will you be #1 in these racing games?

Everybody loves a good race, right? Whether it’s a foot race on the playground as a kid, watching the Indy 500, or even playing a board game, a race is always a fun time! Unless you come in last I suppose… that’s probably not super fun…

While there’s a few ways you can interpret “race” this list looks at a few of my favorite race games where players or other elements of the game rush from a start to a finish, instead of racing against a clock/timing elements. Let’s check them out!

Top 10 Games I Don’t Own

Howdy Gamers!
Now, I know what you’re thinking from the title, “This seems like a weird list…” And, to be fair, you’re not wrong. I guess it is a little bit weird to exclusively look at a bunch of games you don’t own. Your follow-up thoughts maybe include something along the lines of “If you like these so much, why don’t you just buy them…?” Again, a valid assessment.

For one reason or the next (price, availability, not playing it til after a Kickstarter, someone else I know owns it ….. et cetera) these just haven’t made it into my collection yet. Maybe they will in the future, maybe not, but I still wanted to give some love to some games I don’t own, just for fun. So check them out! There’s actually all rated about the same for me on BGG, so they’re just organized alphabetically. Which ones of these do you like? Which ones do you own? What games that you love haven’t made it into your collection yet either? These are the questions that need answers!

Anyway, Happy Gaming~

Top Ten Tiny Games

Good Morrow, Gamers! So over the last few months, I’ve found myself buying a few more small box/tiny games as opposed to your “traditional” box sizes that you’d find Ticket to Ride in, for example. I wanted to bring my top ten small box/tiny games to the table here in case you’re in need of suggestions of lil stuff that’s easy to travel with or store if you don’t have a lot of room. While there’s definitely crossover, I tried to pick games that covered a bunch of different mechanics so there’s something for everyone! But without further ado, let’s check them out!

Top 10 Games to Play Virtually

Heellloooo, Gamers! So, like probably a bunch of you, I’ve been doing a bunch of remote gaming over the past few weeks to stay connected with people and give some of my peeps something fun to do together since we’re all going a little stir-crazy.

While better days seem to be just ahead, I still wanted to compile a list of the games that work best virtually because, hey, you never know when you might need them! All of these can be played with only 1 person owning the game, and providing the other players with scans/photos of scoresheets, or the players using dry erase boards, paper and pencil, or touch screen devices.

Let me know what you’ve found worked best over video chats, because I’d love to have more ideas handy!

Happy Gaming~
