Due to budget cuts, you’re stuck traveling around flower markets in the same car as your rival garden. Now, you’ll need to gather the best cactus samples and display them better than your opponent to prove you’re the best!

🎯The Goal of the game is to score the most points
⚙️Drafting – Players both move the car around the center grid to draft cactus cards
⚙️Tile Placement / Set Collection – As players set up their personal grid, they’ll score points for rows/columns in ascending or descending order, and rows/columns/quadrants of the same color

👥1 to 2 Players – I thought solo was okay, but I prefer the 2 player game
👥Ages 10 & Up – Rules are pretty approachable, and the puzzle aspect is tricky but not too complex
👥Fans of shared grid/drafting and puzzley set collection

🟢Aesthetics – Nice art
🟢Small and portable; everything fits in the tin well
🟢Rules are well written and clear
🟢Smooth turns / rounds
🟢Lots of ways to score
🟢Interesting puzzle element both with creating your own grid, and how you navigate the shared grid to pick up cards and position the car to hopefully not help your opponent

🔴It seemed like you could grab up the wren tokens early and just hoard them until your last few turns just to prevent your opponent from getting more
🔴I thought solo was a bit too easy
🔴Not super different feeling play to play

Overall, I thought this was a neat little puzzle. I think it works better with 2 players than solo, and I liked that it felt like an appropriate size for what it was (not a “big” game that’s trying to be crammed into a tiny box). I don’t think you change your strategy much play to play, because you’re always going for the best card for sets in your grid that you can, given what’s out in the shared board, and what you have access to based on the car’s location. Still, I could see coming back to it every so often.
