A little luck and a bit of strategy combine in Tap 4! Manage your hand along with your table cards, and keep your fingers crossed each time you need to flip out a face down card. And don’t forget to time your Tap cards just right!

✨Theme – None
🎯Goal – You want to run out of cards 1st in a given round. Once someone hits 150 points, whoever has the least points wins
⚙️Card Game
⚙️Hand Management – Players will add cards to the center stack each turn. They must play equal to or lower than the top card of the stack, and can play any/all cards of the same number together that the have in hand or in front of them.If there are ever 4+ of a kind on top of the stack, they can clear the stack and start a new one. A round ends when someone runs out of cards and players will score for the cards remaining in their hands/in front of them

👥2 to 6 Players – 2 Players has a variant, which is okay, but I prefer 3+
👥Ages 10 & Up – Easy rules, very approachable
👥Fans of Karma card game, large player count card games

🟢Rules are well written
🟢Approachable ruleset for a wide audience
🟢Small/portable
🟢Turns are quick, gameplay is smooth

🔴Luck of the draw with someone getting more Tap cards than others, or getting unlucky flips with those facedown cards
🔴Cards are a bit thin

So, this was super familiar to me, as it’s really similar to Karma, which I actually used to play a lot. It’s definitely got some heavy luck, but you can be a little strategic in if you choose to pick up the stack at opportune times, and when you choose to use those Tap cards if you have them. It’s light and pretty quick, and I think it’ll appeal to a wide range of players. Great for any card game fans!
