Mail is flying all over the place – we need to get these letters sorted to avoid a priority disaster! Will you be fast enough? Or will the dead-letter be your undoing?

🥅The Goal is to have the most points
⚙️Roll & Write / Word Game – The game starts with 3 letters in the 3 outlined boxes on the player sheet, in alphabetical order – the words on those lines, when filled out, must start with that letter. Each round, players roll all the dice. The red dead-letter die is set aside – that letter can not be used in the word that round, or players will not score for it. You get a point each time you use one of the other letters in your word, and x2 if you use all 3 letters. After 7 rounds players must make sure their words are alphabetical, or cross off words until the rest are, and add up all their word scores for their final score.

👥1 or More Players – Solo was fine, but I think multiplayer is more fun. The rounds are simultaneous, no turns, so any player count is fine
👥Ages 8 & Up – You can use any words – any length or complexity, so it’s accessible to a wide range of players
👥Fans of fast word games

🟢Big chunky dice!
🟢2 (main) ways to play – Priority adds a letter that must be used in order to score, so it’s a nice ‘advanced mode’
🟢Plays quickly and smoothly
🟢Rules are well written
🟢I like that you can use any words, and the focus is just on the letters; no penalty for matching others either, which I like.
🟢Light gameplay, but still provides some challenge

🔴Co-op mode, and even the solo a little bit, felt a little unnecessary, and not as exciting as the multiplayer
🔴It doesn’t change much play to play, so I do see it getting a little too repetitive after more plays

This is a solid, quick, and simple word game that works no matter how many people you have, and I think it’s really approachable to a lot of different kinds of players. It had some unique elements, and it was honestly trickier than you’d think – that alphabetical restriction can be brutal! I do think it may not hold up on ton to repeat plays, but we’ll see. Regardless, it’s definitely worth checking out if you generally like word games!
