Like many of you, I love games. Shocker, right? But even when you love something, small things about it might annoy you over time. Admittedly, I am someone who gets annoyed pretty easily. Still, I think I’ve found at least a few things we can all agree are some universal annoyances that would be quick turn offs in some games. Here, I am focusing on game-related aspects specifically, rather than anything to do with players.

Hey gamers! Did you have a good year of gaming? I’m so glad I was finally able to go to a game convention again, I missed it so much. Of course, I didn’t play every game that came out in 2021 (who has?) and I still have a bunch of them that I need to play that I just haven’t gotten to the table yet, but I still found some gems I adore! Check out my top ten games that (as far as I know) came out in 2021!
Welcome Back, Gamers! Another month is in the books, and wow, this year is going by so quickly. In early November I got a bunch of new games played thanks to a great Extra Life event as my favorite Friendly Local Game Store! And of course, a few other newbies here and there too. Have you enjoyed any of these in particularly? Think I’m wrong in my reaction? Let me know! As always, happy gaming~

Getting ready for gift giving season, gamers? Then you’re in luck! For this year’s holiday gift guide list, I wanted to put together a group of gamers that are great for a budget! With MSRPs on games going up, it was harder than I thought to find some high quality for low prices, but I like all the games on this list, and I hope you will too! I’ve added some links to help you find them to buy online, but don’t forget to check your friendly local game stores too, to help support gaming stores everywhere! Let’s check them out!
Let’s talk about IP Games! I tend to love board games with strong themes I can get into. I like tons of themes, and I’m a-okay with games that build their own worlds. But, if I see a game tied to an IP I’m familiar with and a fan of, you can bet I’ll be looking to learn more about it! For this list, I picked some of my very favorite IP games, and tried to focus on games that I thought used the theme well; I tried to avoid games that merely did a re-skin of a game (like Clue). Let’s check them out!
