Unfortunately, not a lot of hits for me this time. Most games came in at around a 5, with a few better, and a few worse. But hey, it’s still fun to try things out!

❤️ – Loved It/Definitely Want to Play More (I rate it a 9 – 10)
😄 – Liked It/Will Likely Play Again (I rate it a 7 – 8)
🤷🏻‍♀️ – Okay/Take It or Leave It/Could Play Again (I rate it a 4 – 6)
👎🏻 – Didn’t Like/Would Not Play Again (I rate it a 1 – 3)

🤷🏻‍♀️ Esoteric – This was just a dry roll and write game, but it didn’t feel like you had a lot of choice depending on the dice rolls
🤷🏻‍♀️ Tequila – I thought it was cool at first, but ultimately, I think it had too much going on that didn’t really seem to work together that well
🤷🏻‍♀️ Islet – I’m not huge on abstract games, but this one was a bit better than most for me. It was pretty smooth and the gameplay felt unique
👎🏻Evil Corp. – I like the theme but this game was just way too long for what it was
🤷🏻‍♀️ 1902 Melies – A simple worker placement game. Fun theme, but ultimately kind of boring gameplay
😄 ArcheOlogic – I liked the deduction of the game (similar to Search for Planet X), bu t I’m so bad at spacial recognition, so I still struggled with it a bit
🤷🏻‍♀️ Dracular vs Van Helsing – A simple card game, but it felt weird that if you started out with a bad hand, you were punished twice for then trying to throw out your low number cards
😄 Nunatak: Temple of Ice – Great table presence and a pretty neat set collection game. The different ways of scoring seem pretty balanced which is great too
🤷🏻‍♀️ Cafe del Gatto – Great theme, but kind of bland gameplay
👎🏻Dorfromantik: Das Duell – Takes up way too much space on the table, and it was difficult to find tiles throughout the game because they aren’t numbered at all
👎🏻 Nekojima – This game was over in under 5 minutes. The pieces seem way too difficult to stack
😄 Rats of Wistar – Definitely a bit on the long side, but I thought the gameplay was pretty smooth and there were some interesting strategies to try and combos to strive for
🤷🏻‍♀️ Chai – Great looking game and fun theme, but falls a little flat because some rounds are so quick, and there’s just not a lot happening in-game
🤷🏻‍♀️ Fabled: The Spirit Lands – Just a little dry for me, and it also seemed like whoever went 2nd in the last round had a big advantage of seeing how many points they needed to make to win
🤷🏻‍♀️Deadly Dowagers – Fun theme, but just a simple drafting game with not much happening
😄 Paper Dungeons – Cute dungeon crawler roll and write game. I thought the different colored dice worked well for making decisions on your board. I missed a rule which meant I didn’t do very well, but still liked the gameplay!
