Let’s talk about IP Games! I tend to love board games with strong themes I can get into. I like tons of themes, and I’m a-okay with games that build their own worlds. But, if I see a game tied to an IP I’m familiar with and a fan of, you can bet I’ll be looking to learn more about it! For this list, I picked some of my very favorite IP games, and tried to focus on games that I thought used the theme well; I tried to avoid games that merely did a re-skin of a game (like Clue). I didn’t get a whole lot of newbies to my table this month, as we were mainly doing a lot of culling of our collection, so we were playing things to decide whether or not we want to keep them. New month, and plenty more new games! I think I’m always a little surprised at how many new things I play in any given month, but it’s always fun seeing what gets to the table! I’m hoping that soon we’ll be able to start attending FLGS play events and other conventions again, I really miss them because I always got to play so many new games! Anyone else excited to get back to those?
