  • Quality – I thought the brushes were nice quality, they didn’t fray like other brushes I’ve used, and I thought the paint went on to the mini really smoothly too, which might be because the primer was nice, and/or the paint itself, but overall it was all great

CONS

  • Some of the paints were very watery, and I wasn’t sure if they were supposed to be that way
  • The video, while greatly instructional, gives tips for suggestions for using brushes that don’t come with the kit. I thought it would be a little better if it only used what came in the box so that new painters didn’t feel like they had to buy additional supplies

Final Thoughts

As someone who does already have some experience with miniature painting, I thought this kit was awesome. This is something I wish I had picked up before I started painting, because I was so nervous to dive headfirst into painting my games, worried I would ruin them.

I think this is a great tool for people who want to try out different techniques, test out mixing paints, and just get a feel for what they want their minis to look like. I definitely recommend this to those just starting out!
