Hey there, Gamers! I hope you all had a great Gen Con weekend, if you attended, and if you didn’t get the chance, I hope you got to see some new game announcements to put on your wish lists! I had a great time at the show. I got to see a lot of cool new games, try a few, and picked up some new things as well! I wasn’t sure how to go about this post, but I think it’ll mostly just be some highlights of my experience. This post will probably be a long one, so strap in! I’ve got a lot to talk about.
Hey Gamers! I wanted to do a not-so-quick post (there’s a lot I want to say, so it’s gonna be long, okay?) to recount my latest PAXU experience! As always, I had a great time. It was my first year with a media badge, and it was a great privilege to have, so I’m very appreciative of that, thanks PAX! I felt like it helped me make more connections with publishers, which was awesome! Without further ado, let’s dive in!
Howdy, gamers! I got back from PAX Unplugged today and the whole weekend was a blast. I met up with some publishers, bought/sold/traded/played tons of games, did plenty of pin trading, and just had a grand ol’ time. Check out the weekend’s highlights and some pictures below!

This week in addition to weekly game night with friends, and our every night 2 player gaming, we attended Granite Game Summit 2020! It’s such a great little convention that we’re always excited to go to. Read on to see a recap of the event – there will be highlights, details, and even area food suggestions! It’s that time of year again! For those of us who can’t afford/can’t attend/don’t want to attend big ol’ Gen Con, we are participating in GenCan’t!
This year I’ve had a lot going on, so I’m keeping it small scale, just me and my husband, doing our own thing for a bit, probably playing some new games we picked up, and maybe revisiting that Gloomhaven scenario we still haven’t finished. I did customize our badges a little bit, and pulled out my old “Welcome” sign, but I passed on the cookies and big get-togethers this year.
I did want to share one more thing in this small preview post though! I wanted to post the link to my roll-and-write game: Roller Space that I submitted to the GenCan’t design contest. It’s still pretty rough, but I had a lot of fun designing and submitting it, so I wanted to put it out there in case anyone wanted to give it a go!
