Not sure what to get your favorite gamer this holiday season? There’s still time! I’m not going to lie, it can be tough. My #1 recommendation is always to not just buy the next game you see and assume they’ll like it because “they just like games.” Yes, it’s the thought that counts, but it’s always a little awkward for everyone if you get them something that they may have already played and disliked, or know they will dislike based on certain mechanisms., and now they aren’t sure what to do with it. To help avoid an uncomfortable situation, here are 5 tips to help you shop this year.

Guides on gift giving to gamers – i.e. game or accessory suggestions, useful tips, etc.
Happy Holiday Season, gamers! I know some might say it’s still a bit early, but it’s never too early to pick up some gifts for the ones you love! For this year’s gift guide I decided to focus on great games to pick up for your non-gamer friends & family, because sometimes it can be hard to find something to entertain the whole family at get-togethers/visits when they aren’t as familiar with games. These games are easily accessible, have simple rules to learn and teach, and can be played by a wide range of ages! Since I know there’s plenty of us who might also not be able to travel for the holidays this year, I’ll also note which of these are good to play virtually over video conferencing. They are in no particular order, so check them out, see what sounds interesting, and pick some up for your family this holiday season! Happy Gaming~
Hey there, Gamers!
So, you may remember that last year I made a little Gift Guide to help you find just the right game or accessory for your favorite gamer! It had a few intro games, a few accessories, and everything was under $25! (It’s cool, check it out if you haven’t, cause it’s still awesome – Shameless Plug!)
This year I wanted to go a slightly different direction and do a list with no games on it… WHAT?! Yeah, you heard right. As someone who has a lot (not kidding, a lot) of games, it’s hard to tell people what game I want, because that’s mostly a list of hard to find or expensive things, and it’s hard getting games I didn’t ask for because non-gamers don’t always know my taste (but I do appreciate the thought!). So, if you have someone like me in your life, here are a few simple gift ideas that might help you get them something they can always use!
Giving the gift of games this holiday season? Sick! … Don’t get sick. It just is sick. Clearly I am down with the lingo of the times…
Anyway! It’s always fun to try and get more people into board games with a starter game, or get the gamer in your life some nice accessories for their current favorites. Whether it’s for a Secret Santa, a stocking stuffer, a gift for bae, or something else entirely, here are some awesome gift ideas for gamers all under $25! Even fancier, I’ve linked to BGG pages in the titles, and sites for purchase in the descriptions. You are so welcome. Let’s GOOOO!
